I’m interested in getting veneers and I’m afraid to just pick anyone dentist to get them done. Do anyone know if there is a site that has review/pics of the dentist previous procedures?

Despite very real concerns, I got a letter from the peer review after examination and I was denied a refund to get my teeth redone.
At the bottom of the letter it states that I may appeal based on “any new evidence or procedural irregularity”. Can someone please tell me what a procedural irregularity is? Is that something that was done from my dentist or the peer review committee?

new to area for dentist and not sure where to go. I need a tooth pulled and don’t have insurance.. i am in Norton, Ohio.

It means that in a situation such as a patient complaint, a dentist will be judged by a group of his peers (other dentists) and they are supposed to listen to all the facts, his side and the patients, and decide if how he acted was how they personally would have acted if they were in the same situation.
Lets say, a patient complains to the state board that a dentist messed up their tooth. The dentist will give his version of the situation, such as the tooth was in very poor condition to begin with and he did the best he could to repair the damage, however it was just too far gone to repair without very extensive and expensive work. The dentists review board will look at the x-rays and patients chart and determine if this were their patient, would they have done the same treatment and do they agree with the dentist or do they think he did something wrong. If the majority agree that the dentist did all he could and was no neglegent, the patient looses and their complaint is dropped.

I don’t want dr. oogle, because they only give you the 5 star ratings and the 1 stars you have to pay for it. I had a horrible experience with my dentist in rockford michigan and I need to get reviews before I see another one.

In a new area, and definitely about time I find a dentist…. is there any kind of website that has dentist reviews?
