I have been trying to research on the web but I feel like I might be falling for a scam. I need to know some opinions on teeth whitening systems. Which ones are the best?

I’m referring to whitening options from the dentist. My teeth aren’t badly stained, but the over-the-counter stuff wasn’t doing anything for me. I’m leaning towards laser because I’m afraid the chemicals in the gel trays getting absorbed into my gums. And which is better price wise? What are your thoughts?

If I take two small pieces of foil and fold them so they will fit the size of my teeth then fill the molds with whitening toothpaste and baking soda then pop the moulds into my mouth and leave for 10 minutes.
Will I see immediate results? Even a little whiter? Or will it take days/weeks?

I used Crest WhiteStrips about 7 months ago, and now I want my teeth whiter again so I want to use them again. Is 7 months in between enough time to use them again? How often is it safe to use teeth-whitening strips?
